Q Magaine (Top 10 Podcast Article)
The Distorted View Show is a daily comedy podcast hosted by Tim Henson. Every weekday he scours the darkest corners of the web in search of the truly bizarre. He then presents his finds to you, complete with unique (read: crass, vulgar, childish, and inappropriate) commentary. For a half hour each day, sit back and witness this audiophonic trainwreck. After listening, you'll feel much better about your own life.
Distorted View Daily won "Best Comedy Podcast" during the first annual People's Choice Podcast Awards in 2005. DV made history again by winning the award for the second straight year in 2006. It was nominated again in the comedy category for 2007, and once again took home an award in 2008 for "Best Mature Podcast".

Tim Henson

Tim Henson has been producing content on the web since 1996. In 2000, his live Internet radio show was broadcast on the Real-Talk Network during the height of the first dotcom bubble. After, DV became one of the most popular extensions on on TellMe, a phone service that pioneered voice recognition. In 2003 Tim produced a morning drive-time radio show for Sirius Satellite Radio. The following year, Distorted View Daily (the podcast) was born.
Thanks to his listeners, Tim has made Distorted View a fulltime job. When he's not recording the show, Tim occasionally blogs about failed soda's on his website, "Fizzled Out". In 2013, his novel, "Captain Afterbirth, And The Wonder Tards" will be released by Bantam books. A companion cookbook is to follow.
According to Wikipedia, Tim is one of the few notable people to hail from his hometown of Ashtabula, Ohio. He currently resides in Columbus, Ohio.
The Freaks

Even more important to the show than Tim are the listeners. It takes a special kind of person to find humor in the darkest of places. Not only do DV listeners appreciate it, they revel in it like a pig in shit. It's why they're affectionately referred to as "The Freaks".
Think you're ready to call yourself a freak? Are you willing to put aside your morals, heart, and conscience for 30 minutes each day to laugh at the things you're not supposed to laugh at? If so, welcome aboard and Jigoo!
