When connected you will be called FreakXXX where XXX is a random number. To change your name, type the following in:

/nick <newnick>

(Please don't call yourself newnick otherwise we will laugh at you.)

The rules:
Yes, this is Distorted View, but we at least like to keep up the pretence of being intelligent. So the following, while not a comprehensive list, is what is expected of visitors:

  1. Please, no internet acronyms, including but not limited to LOL, LMAO, ROFL, GTG, BRB, BBL, TTYL, ASL.
  2. No illegal activities.
  3. Respect others, especially the operators.
  4. Internet memes are permitted, so long as they're current and quite funny for all.
That's it, that's the sum total of the rules. Not hard to stick by them at all. Three strikes, and you're kick-banned. You might be allowed back in, you might not. We won't tell you if you're unbanned.
